Description
It is our honor to have Dr. Kate Drabinski facilitate the work-life balance workshop this year, honoring the legacy of Dr. Robert Deluty, former professor of Psychology and Associate Dean of the Graduate School here at UMBC.
As you know, mental health has been one of the crucial struggles during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we have witnessed the reality of Zoom/WebEx fatigue. Despite this, a lot of people are thriving out there. Many have adopted an exercise routine and others have been reading more than ever. If the latter doesn’t describe you, don’t feel bad. We know that our Grad students have faced very difficult times, we know that they are resilient and will continue to push forward.
The purpose of this talk is to find a balance, regroup, de-stress and thrive. We hope that you find this conversation useful but more than anything, cheerful!
