Finding and Getting a Graduate Assistantship at UMBC

Graduate Assistantships are very competitive to get. If you are an incoming graduate student, a current graduate student who has never had an assistantship, or one that has submitted several unsuccessful applications we invite you to join this conversation.

We will be sharing information on how to search for graduate assistantships on campus, the elements of a strong application, what a regular assistantship will offer for a student and what to consider before you submit your applications. We will be talking about the Dissertation Fellowship application and deadlines.
