Description
The Graduate Council's Research Committee at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites you to the 9th Annual Regional Research Symposium 2018. This year Symposium 2018 is part of the Graduate Research Week, and will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
The symposium will present a forum to discuss research at regional universities, colleges, and industry. Oral and poster presentations of research by students (graduate and undergraduate) and faculty will be featured. The best of each will receive awards.
Submitters are required to compose and present their abstracts, posters, and presentations as described in registration form located here.
Once you are registered, you will receive an email with a link for submitting your abstracts. Please submit your abstracts from this link prior to the deadline.
The deadline for submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentation competition is March 1, 2018, at 11:59 pm.

Transportation:
UMBC is providing FREE transportation for our students on a first come-first served basis. If you are planning on using the service please email promisestaff@gmail.com with the subject "Bus UMES" and include your full name, campus, undergraduate or graduate student denomination, department or major, and your cell phone number. You will receive a confirmation email with the schedule of the bus.
