Description
This program will offer graduate students a look in to the experiences of minority scientist who have overcome adversity, adapted to new environments and advanced within their field of study. These faculty members and post-docs will share tokens of wisdom and words of advice.

Eduardo Davila, Ph.D (Molecular Microbiology & Immunology)
Laundette Jones, Ph.D. (Pharmacology)
Participants on the postdoctoral panel are:
Aqueasha Martin-Hammond, Ph.D. (Information Systems, UMBC)
Taeyjuana Curry, PhD (Chemistry and Biochemistry, UMBC)
The event will be held at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, SMC Campus Center, 621 West Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, ELM Room 208A Following the panel discussion, students are invited to mix and mingle with the panelist over lunch.
