Join us for an inspiring conversation with Dr. Valerie Ashby, President of UMBC, as she shares her journey to academic leadership in "Leading with Purpose: Dr. Ashby’s Journey." A distinguished chemist and educational leader, Dr. Ashby previously served as Dean of Trinity College of Arts & Sciences at Duke University and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill. Through personal stories, she will discuss her career path, the mentors who shaped her, key moments of growth, and the ideas that drive her leadership.
