Information session about Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training – Online Event
Date & Time
September 11, 2024, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description
We have recently launched a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Microcredential Series-a set of in person workshops- to ensure we meet the National Institutes of Health (NIH) mandate that research ethics training be done through in-person discussion (see post here). Anyone can complete the RCR Microcredential series, but it is required for those with NIH funding. We have long offered (and will continue to offer) virtual RCR training through CITI for those that are not on NIH funding.
In this brief, virtual information session, you can get your questions answered about what to expect from the in-person RCR Microcredential Series occurring this fall, how it compares to CITI training, and figure out who else you may need to consult to see which option is best for you.
The instructor of the RCR Micredential Course, Professor. Daniel Jenkins, will be leading this information session, and will be accompanied by Andrew Glenn from Research Administration, who knows more about the online CITI RCR training.
