This meeting and discussion aim to get together a group of grad students who are originally not from Maryland, who moved here for graduate school and want to meet other grad students outside their departments, make new friends and learn about on campus resources.
Date: Thursday, September 28, 2023
Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Location: University Center (UC), Room 310.
We know that moving is an adventure, no matter how far, particularly if you moved to start Grad School! Not everyone arrives under the same circumstances, but you all are adapting. This space will serve as an opportunity to meet other students under the same circumstances and network, helping create a sense of community.
We will facilitate a conversation on the different resources available to you on campus and provide you with some refreshments and a safe space to talk about how your semester is going.
We look forward to seeing you!
