Description
The Graduate School at UMBC and the PROMISE program are partnering this year to host our Annual PROMISE Cookout, Celebration of Graduates event on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM in person, at UMBC campus, The Commons Terrace.
This event is an opportunity to decompress, reconnect with fellow graduate students, celebrate the ones graduating this May or August, and have some much-needed fun!!!
Tickets are only for current UMBC graduate students or postdocs. You must present your ticket to enter the event.
Why should I attend this event?
Our traditional PROMISE cookout has served as an opportunity to celebrate our Graduate School graduates before Commencement and connect with grad students from other departments and share a delicious meal with your peers. We hope you are available to join us!
Concerned about COVID-19?
This year the number of participants will be limited due to COVID-19 protocol, we will be inviting people to keep a "safe distance", in order to do so, please make sure to RSVP for the event if you plan to attend. Tickets are only for current UMBC graduate students, and please consider wearing a mask, particularly while picking up your food.
